Commercial analysis, working shown

No unscripted numbers.

Tervisi connects read-only to your sales and cost data and reports each week on what changed, why it matters and what to do about it. Every figure in a report is computed by code you can inspect, never written by a language model.

Every figure traceable.

01 The report

What a report does

Each week you get a short report on your sales and margins: what moved, in which products, channels or customers, and whether the movement is worth acting on.

Each finding comes with a recommended action and what it is likely to be worth, or a plain no action when the movement is noise.

Behind every figure sits a trace block. It names the system the number came from, the script that computed it and the moment it ran, and links to the rows themselves. You never have to take a figure on trust.

figureThe headline figure

The number this finding rests on. It is never typed by a person or a language model: it is the output of the script named below.

So you can check it against your own records.

scriptthe file and line that computed it

The code is kept with the report, so anyone can read exactly how the figure was made.

runthe date and time of the run

A figure is tied to your data as it stood at that moment.

Every trace ends here, at the data itself.

The anatomy of a trace block. Every figure in a Tervisi report carries one. Open a line to see why it is there. The figures arrive with the first published study.
02 The method

How it works

  1. Connect

    read-only

A read-only connection to the systems that hold your sales and costs.

  2. Analyse

    scripted

Python and R scripts compute every figure, the same way each run.

  3. Recommend

    versioned

Each finding comes with a recommended action, or an explicit no action.

  4. Account

    a receipt for every run

Every run leaves a record of what ran, on which data and what it produced.

03 The cadence

Not a dashboard. An analyst.

A dashboard waits for someone to look. This looks for you, on a fixed rhythm, and says what it found.

Weekly

Looks for
What changed, in which products, channels, customers or regions, and whether it is noise or signal.
You receive
3 to 5 findings, each traced to source, each with a recommended action or an explicit no action.

Monthly

Looks for
Trends across the month: shifts in segments and cohorts, margin drift and what became of last month’s recommendations.
You receive
A fuller report, with a record of what was recommended and what has happened since.

Quarterly

Looks for
Structural questions: seasonality, customer lifetime patterns, channel economics and what the data cannot yet answer.
You receive
A strategic review, including what to start collecting so next quarter can answer more.

Between reports it watches each refresh of your data, and only speaks early when a threshold you agreed is crossed.

Where Tervisi is today

Tervisi started in October 2026. It has no clients yet, so there is no case study on this page. The first engagement is offered at cost, in return for the right to publish what it finds.

06 Questions

Questions

We already have dashboards. Why would we need this?

Dashboards tell you what happened. This tells you what to do and what it is worth, and keeps a record of what it recommended.

Could we not just use ChatGPT on our data?

You can, and you will get a fluent answer with no trail behind it. The bigger gap is that it does not know your business. Tervisi keeps your cost treatment, your customer hierarchy, your seasonality and your definitions from one run to the next, and it runs whether or not anyone remembers to ask.

Consultants take the money and disappear. Why is this different?

The audit is a fixed price with a fixed deliverable. If it does not tell you 3 things you did not know, you do not pay. After that it is monthly, and you can stop with 30 days’ notice, no reason required.

Our data is a mess. Is there any point?

Most commercial data is. Before you are quoted anything, the first call includes a 15-minute check on whether your cost data can support margin analysis, and you are told plainly if it cannot.

Is our data safe?

The connections are read-only. Nothing is pasted into a public model, and nothing is kept once the work ends. How your data is handled sets out the detail.

It is one person. What if something happens?

True, and it is why nothing is on a 12-month term.

07 Fit

Who it is not for

  • Businesses turning over less than about £10m. The fee will not pay for itself.
  • Anyone wanting a dashboard to explore. This is an analyst that tells you what to do.
  • Anyone buying AI for the board pack. The models are a tool here, not the point.
  • Anyone wanting the models to make the decision. Tervisi recommends. You decide.
